Blakroc a.k.a Do you ever fuck with rock&roll?

I think it was around last autumn that I discovered the brilliance of The Black Keys.Oh, how i adore thee music..Oh shit, this is gonna be such a stan post, so yeah:)

At some point I remember reading that they were gonna record a new album with some hip-hop/r'n'b artists, but I figured it would take some time to actually finish it (getting everyone together etc.).Boy, was I wrong. The album comes out November 27 (Black Friday, after Thanksgiving) and features collaborations by Q-Tip,Mos Def, RZA, Raekwon, Ludacris, Pharoahe Monch, NOE, Nicole Wray, Billy Danze and the late Ol' Dirty Bastard. After listening to some of the tracks on YT, watching the clips from the recording process,well..Sweeeeeeee-eeeeeeeeeeeeeet!

Here is the tracklist:
01 Coochie (feat. Ludacris & Ol Dirty Bastard)
02 On The Vista (feat. Mos Def)
03 Hard Times (feat. NOE)
04 Dollaz & Sense (feat. Pharoahe Monch & RZA)
05 Why Cant I Forget Him (feat. Nicole Wray)
06 Stay Off The Fuckin Flowers (feat. Raekwon)
07 Aint Nothing Like You (Hoochie Coo) (feat. Jim Jones & Mos Def)
08 Hope Youre Happy (feat. Billy Danze (of M.O.P.), Nikki Wray & Q-Tip)
09 Tellin Me Things (feat. RZA)
10 What You Do To Me (feat. Billy Danze (of M.O.P.), Jim Jones & Nicole Wray)
11 Done Did It (feat. Nicole Wray & NOE)

More info and photos/stuff on their website.

First single off the album is "Ain't Nothing Like You (Hoochie Coo)"

Blakroc also had weekly episodes of the recording process, and I think I'll put them all here.Hah, 10 or so YT videos (slow comp owners, beware:)

Only a few more days..oh man, oh man, feels like it's Christmas..wooooohoooooooooo!
In the meantime The Black Keys albums will be on loop:)

SO MUCH EPIC WIN IN THIS POST!

I woke up one friday morning a couple of weeks ago, made a cup of coffee, ate breakfast..Since I don't like hot coffee, I usually let it cool off for quite a bit..So, there I was, searching something online when suddenly I discovered myself watching YouTube clips of The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, where his guest was Ewan McGregor..Let me just say that watching the aforementioned show equals a fucking cold coffee to drink later. Why?Because it's impossible to watch it without laughing and when I laugh really hard, I have tears in my eyes. So trying to drink, wipe tears and watch the show at the same time is one hot mess:)
How on earth have i not discovered these clips before?!?
Ewan McGregor has been on the show 3 times by now..They're seriously freakin' hilarious together and have this routine going on already: dance-bits in the beginning, then EM tries to unsuccessfully promo his new movie and somehow they end up talking about planes..um,oops, now i ruined it for newbies..

Watch these with no drinks at hand and/or no objects in your mouth:)Oh, and a sense of humor is also advisable.

"Yeah, all the Star Wars nude scences just some how didn't make it into the film.."

"I was like Dii-ick"..."The great thing about picking up homeless people is that you can drop them off anywhere!"

"You could dress up and put shoes on your knees.."

"Ivan, I am your father!"

No goats were harmed..

"Ewan McGregor, everybody. We'll be right back!..Oh,no that's your line."

But..but..where is the ESPN UK part...:(

I absolutely LOVE Ewan Mcgregor's laugh..
The best part about these clips is that they never get old..

Oh, and if anyone hasn't seen Long Way Round or Long Way Down - then get to it.Now!
Long Way Round (LWR) is a documentary television series documenting the 19,000 miles (31,000 km) journey of Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman from London to New York on motorcycles. They travelled eastwards through Europe and Asia, flew to Alaska and continued by road from there to New York.

"Usually people bring a coffee; he brought a fucking machine gun!"

Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman followed up their epic Long Way Round trip by riding south through 18 countries from John o' Groats in Scotland to Cape Agulhas in South Africa via Europe and Africa in 2007, calling it Long Way Down.

The xx

London-based band The xx has put me in a total trance today.I cannot stop listening to their album. It is brilliant. The sounds are haunting and suck you right in.
When I first heard one of their songs, I was like 'hm, this is actually pretty interesting'.So I re-played the song and before I knew it, I had listened to it 10 times in a row. That kinda proves my point of sucking one into their music.

#Music#

Sometimes I forget little gems of music and when I rediscover them from the world wide web, it brings back the oh-man-it's-still-so-good-recognition.Plus more.

One of those gems is Warpaint, an almost all-girl-group from L.A with a psychedelic/jazzy sound.First heard them about 2 years ago and it totally blew my mind.Still does.
Their music is very fitting for Autumn, chill and yet full of so many emotions, layers.

PERFECT.This song is perfect. /feat. Josh Klinghoffer on drums and John Frusciante on mellotron/

They have a really awesome video for Stars, from their debut EP Exquisite Corpse on MySpace.Oh, and J.Frusciante co-mixed the EP.
Put your headphones on and watch it with full screen:)

White Blank Page

"I can feel it happening again.
The soft hands of darkness envelop me into a hold
that deflects every speck of light.
When will it end?..

When body and soul stop being two separate entities
and unite as a whole"
"Cause I need freedom now
And I need to know how
To live my life as it's meant to be"

*********************************************

"You're not the only person
To get it wrong
Its all right"

I just fucking need to keep repeating that to myself and maybe the crappy feeling will go away..I mean, FFS..ONE thing...one thing and i can't even do that right..

#Movie spam#

There are many many movies coming out in the near future (or are already in cinemas) that I'm really looking forward to seeing.
Anyways - trailers trailers trailers:)

The first time I saw this trailer was in spring,it was showed before TBTR.
And I almost had tears in my eyes, from a freaking trailer! That has never happened to me before, ever!Which shows just how important music is to a movie. And the soundtrack of this film IS amazing!
So either I was in LaLa land back then or this will be a fuckawesome movie:)
It is based on the very popular children's book by Maurice Sendak and the director is Spike Jonze.
Spike motherfucking Jonze. *squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeel*

Johnny Depp + Tim Burton=PURE WIN

Joseph Gordon-Levitt..um, wow, i like the husky voice..very much so:D
"Boy meets girl.Boy falls in love.Girl doesn't."

"In the post-war, pre-Beatles London suburbs, a bright schoolgirl is torn between studying for a place at Oxford and the more exciting alternative offered to her by a charismatic older man."
So, will it be education by books or life experience..

"A young girl who has been murdered watches over her family--and her killer--from heaven. She must weigh her desire for vengeance against her desire for her family to heal."
Peter Jackson.Peter Jackson.Peter Jackson.
x100.
I have to get my hands on the book as well!!

"Iraq. Forced to play a dangerous game of cat-and-mouse in the chaos of war, an elite Army bomb squad unit must come together in a city where everyone is a potential enemy and every object could be a deadly bomb. When a new sergeant, James (Jeremy Renner), takes over a highly trained bomb disposal team amidst violent conflict, he surprises his two subordinates, Sanborn and Eldridge (Anthony Mackie and Brian Geraghty), by recklessly plunging them into a deadly game of urban combat. James behaves as if hes indifferent to death. As the men struggle to control their wild new leader, the city explodes into chaos, and James true character reveals itself in a way that will change each man forever."
This is supposed to be one of those good movies very few know about. Why?Ask the asshats over at Suckmit (Summit) Entertainment.I swear to god that company doesn't know it has a good movie in their hands until it's already too late.Sheesh, way to ruin the chances at the moronic February/March shenanigans.

"A collection of stories directed by a diverse group of filmmakers including Mira Nair, Brett Ratner, Allen Hughes and Natalie Portman.Sexy, funny, haunting and revealing encounters unfold beneath the Manhattan skyline. From Tribeca to Central Park to Brooklyn the story weaves a tale of love as diverse as the very fabric of New York itself."
NY&Ethan Hawke=Phoenix - 1901

"Benjamin (Michael Angarano), home-schooled by his eccentric mother (Jennifer Coolidge), is a loveable loner whose passion for writing leads him on an offbeat and hilarious journey as his story first gets ripped off by the legendary fantasy novelist, Ronald Chevalier (Jemaine Clement) and then is adapted into a disastrous movie by the small towns most prolific homespun filmmaker."
Half of FOTC - JEMAINE!..
But i don't know what the eff is going on with this movie..Is it so bad it unintentionally becomes funny or is it just bad, or is it very good with a kooky vibe?!..hjelp!
The tit dart was cool though:)

"A desperate father takes his ten-year-old son, Chook, on the run after committing a violent crime. As the two journey into the desert and an unknown future, their troubled relationship and the need to survive sees them battling the elements and each other. Chook eventually takes control and the choice he is forced to make has a devastating effect on both their lives."

"Ryan Bingham is a corporate downsizing expert whose cherished life on the road is threatened just as he is on the cusp of reaching ten million frequent flyer miles and just after hes met the frequent-traveler woman of his dreams."
This one has garnered some pretty positive buzz for the award season..hm

"A traveling magician sells his daughter to the devil in exchange for a life of extraordinary powers."
My kind of a movie

"The story of a secret unit within the US Army called the First Earth Battalion, whose paranormal military ideas mutated over the decades to influence interrogation techniques at Guantanamo Bay."
Hello, Ewan Mcgregor, seems like you made an awesome movie:)

"A grieving couple retreat to Eden, their isolated cabin in the woods, where they hope to repair their broken hearts and troubled marriage. But nature takes its course and things go from bad to worse..."
Interesting..

"Katie and Micah were enjoying a happy and carefree existence. Their future looked promising until bizarre events begin to occur at night. In order to get to the bottom of things, Katie and Micah purchase a video camera to find out what happens at night while they slept."
This one I wanna see because I'm seriously interested if the hype for this movie is just that - hype.Because it can go both ways - too far or not far enough.
Looks like Blair Witch Project in a house:)

"In 1972, a scale of measurement was established for alien encounters. When a UFO is sighted, it is called an encounter of the first kind. When evidence is collected, it is known as an encounter of the second kind. When contact is made with extraterrestrials, it is the third kind. The next level, abduction, is the fourth kind. This encounter has been the most difficult to document-until now. Set in modern-day Nome, Alaska, where--mysteriously since the 1960s--a disproportionate number of the population has been reported missing every year. Despite multiple FBI investigations of the region, the truth has never been discovered. Here in this remote region, psychologist Dr. Abigail Tyler began videotaping sessions with traumatized patients and unwittingly discovered some of the most disturbing evidence of alien abduction ever documented."
Again, whether it is any good or not - who the eff knows, but it looks interesting.

The thing with these creepy ass movies is that they all put the emphasis on the fact that the movie is based on real-life events etc.And that is what makes people freak out in the cinema. It is the best method of getting viewers to identify with the character.Very effective.Works almost every time.
If the guy there had that happen to him, oh holy shit, what if I go home, into my bed..and it will happen to me too..omg omg *cue the heebiejeebies in the person's overactive brain* eeeeeeep!..shit!fuuck..this movie is SO scary..
Pssht,yeah..

Oh and on the hype thing.Slumdog Millionaire was waaaay overhyped.Seriously.
Don't get me wrong it is a good movie, and all that jazz. But for me, this is one of those examples of the buzz running too far ahead of the movie.

SOA FTMFW

I cannot get enough of Sons of Anarchy.I haven't seen such a good tv-show in a really really long time.
So, why is it so god-damn good?
Great characters
Absolutely fucking brilliant music
Motorcycles
Guns
Violence
It is raw, gritty, tough and full of suspense!
I mean, what the hell is there more to want?:)
It's about an outlaw motorcycle club named The Sons of Anarchy Motorcycle Club, Redwood Original a.k.a SAMCRO a.k.a SOA. The members live in a small town called Charming (i know, right?) and most of them have a "day job" at the club president's auto repair shop. But their main money comes from illegal gun importing and selling them to other gangs (the Mayans, 1-9ers, Nords, True IRA etc).
The show focuses mainly on "Jax", one of the youngest members, who starts to question his own part in the club and its activities. It also shows other members of the local Sons of Anarchy charter, their families, various Charming townspeople, and the other rivals and associates who undermine or support SAMCRO's legal and illegal enterprises.
I puffy heart the character of Opie.It is so well written. Not that the others aren't (there's the whole Shakespearean thing going on with Jax and his family), but Opie's struggle to find the balance with the club (there is no 'half in-half out') and his family after time in prison was portrayed very well. And the end of S01 - sweet holy jebus fuck..I was like "No don't go there..wtf..nooo...omg..whaaaat..oh hell nooo..answer the phone, you jackass..fuuuuck!".

(this is pretty spoilerish,if you actually care..some screencaps of Opie from S01..but watch the promo clips below first)

Plus there is also the adorable&dorky Half-Sack, who got his nickname after he lost a testicle during the Iraq War.He's also sometimes called Prospect aka a possible member of the club.I really hope he will have a more important storyline in S02.

Second season started this September and it sure is gonna be an interesting one.

Some music from the show (FYI,this will be pretty long)

Murder By Death - I'm Coming Home

Citizen Cope - Son's gonna rise

Told'ya it would be long:)

Oh, and here is a blog about Sons of Anarchy by Kurt Sutter, the creator of the series.

8 years

I came home from school (was it 9th or 10th grade?hm).
It was about 3 pm,i think and my sister was watching CNN or BBC on tv and told that two planes had hit the WTC towers..At first i was like, what towers, what are you talking about?! But then I had my 'bingo' moment - those two towers in NY and i was like WHAAAAAT...And of course the next day at school everyone was talking about it..

I cannot believe i has been 8 years..wow..time sure does fly by..
And with every year, everything about 9/11 has become more confusing..suprise suprise..not.

Stop this fuckery already or else fuck me gently with a chainsaw

Leave the fucking Heathers alone!!!
WAAAAAAAAH
What seems to be the problem you ask?
Well..
Two of the brightest crayons in the box have decided to make the 80s cult classic movie Heathers into a tv-show.

Not a sequel.

A tv-show.

What.The.Everloving.Fuck!

A fucking tv-show with some dimwit actors who don't probably even get why messing with that movie is like Blasphemy of the Jebus for the folks in churches.
Like the lovely Michael K wrote: "Variety brings us the bad news. They report that Mark Rizzo and Jenny Bicks (a writer from Sex and the City) are working together on this crap. They plan to update it and bring back all the characters from the movie. The casting alone is making me vommy. They are totally going to destroy us all by casting Ashley Jizzdale, Tater Head Willis, that Kristin Calamari chick from The Hills, the Miss Lolitas and one of the Jonas hos."

Wow, can you imagine the cheese factor IF one of those people Actually were in it?!
*smh*
Ugh.
Piss off.
And take your stinking paws off that project if you do not want the wrath of the fans on you..
Rant over.

Oh and here is why you cannot, I repeat CANNOT FUCK WITH THIS MOVIE: because there just ain't no other crazy Hot motherfucking creepo like JD (played by a young Ch. Slater).
Just N to the O.

LOLs

In April I wrote how I laughed my ass off because of an article I read concerning TWITTER.(10 Tweets my vagina would Twitter). It was seriously full of so much win.
So yeah, kinda hard to top?..NoPe..

I open Heartless Doll today and what do i see?
10 Tweets My Tits Would Twitter
I'll copy the intro here, because damn, it is funny.
"A few months ago, my vagina signed up for a Twitter account. Not too long afterward, my tits started moaning about it, asking, "Why does Vaj get to have all the fun?" I told my tits to calm down, assuring them that one Tweeting body part was more than enough for one lady, but they wouldn't hear of it. After all, who can really deny a boob--especially two?
And so, if my tits had a Twitter--a Titter, if you will--these are 10 things they might Tweet."

Some of the 10 Tweets (check all of them from the article):

9. Hey, Victoria. Here's a "secret." Shove this heinous underwire up your prissy little butthole.

6. Where the hell did that hair come from? TWEEZERS PLZ STAT.

5. @leftbreast I really think you're the biggest.

4. @rightbreast no way, YOU'RE biggest!

And of course, the best is the last

1. @boyfriendspenis you are so dramatic. always trying to come between us.

Numero uno had me laughing so hard..
Um,oops..I meant very much..
See, how the LOLs just keep on coming..

Oh the hoooorrroooooor

What is the scariest movie you have ever seen?
The freakiest/most terrifying character in that movie?
For a long time for me, it was Halloween with the appropriate stalker music and Michael Myers. Also, A Nightmare On Elm Street with Freddie Krueger.Sweet everloving jebus, the dreams i had after wathing that..(though i was veryvery young when i saw them the first time, and you know what they say - first impressions and all that..)
But when i saw Nosferatu (1922) in one of my movie lectures...Oh holy fuck people!
Scared the shit out of me...And it is a silent movie!!Nothing beats this one..Dark&classic&stylish.

Count Orlok is so creepy, seriously like fucking-hell-chills-going-down-my-spine-plus-nigthmares-creeeepy..Ugh..C-c-check it out yourself..

Madonna

In about 3 hours or so, the concert should start.
Kinda excited, kinda not.
I just hope people won't be made of stone..
And damn, no cameras allowed.
I have my crappy phnoe camera, though it probably ain't effin useful at all.

Will come back later to edit this post after the concert:)

Doo-wap-doo-wap

Edit 1:
Holy Fucking Batman Awesomeness!

Ok, so the concert ended about an hour ago, aka 23.15ish, ich think.Oh man, my feet are killing me..

Impressions?!

The thing was very well organized, the actual concert part with the singing and dancing and performers etc.In other words, Madonna delivered one hell of a show that was planned to the last detail.

The whole other thing was blah. And by that i mean the F.B.I part. I don't really think its normal to wait in line for 1,5hours in order to get in.Ok yeah i get it, there were a lot of people.BUT most of them had tickets printed out at home. Not those stupid paper ones. Why am i talking about this?
Because the gates were separated by different types of tickets.Fuck, it was a mess.I felt sorry for the man, who kept talking into the microphone about how those who own paper tickets (which eventually turned into hard tickets..stressful job..does weird things to your brain) should go either through the VIP entrance or the two ones separated for paper ones. Those who own e-tickets had two entrances, which clearly was not enough. So the the paper ones were basically empty as the other were full.
Finally someone managed to get some stuff in order.Me and my sis got in about 20ish or so.

Fuckload of people were there. And i mean a fuckload of people. We bought ciders and just stood somewhere. I went and ran around on my own for a while.Which made me miss the beginning.I also got stuck in a bottleneck of people. It was awful, everyone was pushing, but shit - viinerit ikka kilesse tagasi ei lükka eks!
I tried to say that people should form two lines, but who the fuck listens to a midget?!
Assholes don't, thats who:)
So i just made a sharp left and basically started stepping over people who were sitting on the grass..Pff, you get in my way - then i sure as eff get in your way..(And nope, im not usually so mean IRL..only when im given a reason:)
But whatevs..
Oh,er..Stones were surrounding us, for sure..There deffo should have been a geriatric area as well..(Oh crap, scratch that previous statement - i am one mean bitch indeed:D)
Like seriously people?Really?REALLY?!
You come and you don't clap? You don't move?
What kind of a freakazoid took over your body during the concert?
Because heaven forbid if someone actually shows some emotion during it, right?

On with the good stuff..
The woman has some serious stamina to keep doing the same thing over and over, basically every night in different countries.Mad props and high fives to her!
I jumped,i danced, im pretty sure i sort of elbowed a person as well (not on purpose, of course)..I enjoyed myself.

Thank you so sososooooo much hunbun of a sister for the bday present!:)
I think Like A Prayer was my fav performance..Oh, Ray Of Light as well..
The whole stage and construction was huge, and thank jebus there were screens, otherwise it would have been quite shitty to get an overview of the things happening on stage.

I'll stop it here for now.Sleep on the whole thing.
Edit 2 will come tomorrow, or um, by today:)

Edit 2:
I slept on it.
And now i can say that its one more thing done and over with:)
Everyone's talking about the concert, naturally. I dunno, im kinda over it already.I just wanna see some normal pics of the whole event. But i'll probably put some crappy camera phone ones here.
It reminded me more of a club performance, with how her songs were all remixed together and it made the whole thing go by so quickly.
And yup, if there is a chance to go see an artist abroad - people just take it!
It will be better.Damn sure.
Dun-zoooo!

P.S! Oh, what i would do to see KOL live!!!
I will get there somehow..Oh yeah,I will..(that should become my mantra or sth)

Rainrain..don't go away

So, i was walking to the park and when i got there, the floodgates up above opened.Hey, fine by me.I discovered that it is actually really cool to walk in the rain. Heavy rain.Downpour.Soaked from head to toe.Walking with two separate pools on my feet.Awesome:)

But..
My ipod kinda died on the way back..*hope it will wake up from the rain-induced coma soooon*
And then there was thunder..I love lightning and thunder!..lovelovelove it..
So the point of this short and nonsense/pointless post is - walk in the rain people!...there is this weird silence that comes with it..i mean there is the sound of rain, but besides that..silence.

Oh, as i write this, lightning strikes..
Fucking A!
